Hello all! Man what a week it has been! I just want to start out by saying that over the course of this week, I have acquired a complete Streetpass collection! These are holdable items that you get by having people repeatedly visit your Happy Home Showcase via Streetpass… Now, as you can imagine, collection all 50+ of these items can be a drag for those of us that don’t Streetpass too many people, so I’m auctioning off the set on ACC until 11:59 pm ACC time! You better get in there and bid while you can!

Now, off to the weekly blog!
As you remember, I set up my public works project to build a tiki torch! It turned out great and will show off my town in luau style!
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better… Ken recommended a Moai Statue!!! (He’s coming in quite handy these days…)
All in good time though! Anyway, I’ve been keeping the website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com) up to date as far as catalog goes. If you check it out, I’ve added bars below sections to tell you when they’ve last been updated so you guys have knowledge when ordering from me. That being said, I’ve been frequenting the shops for new items to me, such as this fish tee!….
I noticed a blue Spotpass dot when booting up, so I headed to my HHA showcase and found Nintendo sent me a visitor named Chiko…… “Eggs everywhere!!“….
I was like “okay?…” and continued on to her house… But I soon found what she was speaking of!
As if this room wasn’t cool enough… Check out the upstairs!
Lol. Wow… wow Nintendo…
Anyway, as you recall, I was trying to gain art pieces to finish off my museum’s art collection… Well, the week was off to a grand start! I found people selling real art on ACC!
I also started another tiki torch public works… i do have a vision… You’ll see (someday)…
Then it happend! With just 1 piece left to collect for a full art museum, I met Onigiri on ACC! She had the missing painting!
I was ecstatic that morning! After all that scouring for real artwork, I had finally accomplished another exhibit! 😀
The next morning, I decided to take on diving (since I haven’t gone diving too often as of late…)
I’m glad I did! I found some new species (to me), such as the clam…
…and the oyster!
The rest of the day I spent with a friend and it was solely dedicated to me traveling to their town over and over again in hopes of getting a traveler badge (and them getting a host badge, of course). The process took much longer then I thought, and I only managed to travel 44 times before I gave up… But it was enough to push my overall traveling over 100 visits, giving me the Neighborhood Traveler badge!
If you want a full guide on collecting badges, visit my website, but basically… i clocked in each “visit” of mine at about 2 and a half minutes… So you can do the math and buddy up with someone to work your visits amount up!
Victoria snuck up on me while I was sitting around at home… She can’t get enough of me, I tell ya
Now, something new in September as far as fish are concerned: the opportunity to catch salmon! Now, this can be difficult, as they only appear in waterfalls and it is very hard to see their shadow… I managed to catch one!
As if catching one wasn’t tasking enough, if you’re very lucky, you would run into a large salmon called a king salmon! But I wasn’t that morning, so I took to the ocean and found a new diving species, a turban shell!
I also found a gold ore a couple days back, and while I’ve been remodeling my cabana series, I haven’t found any more pieces of the set yet, so I decided to get my piggy bank decked out!
Walking back through town… That’s when I saw it….. (remember how I said I hadn’t been lucky? well… All of a sudden… I was!)
I cast my line nice and sturdy and landed the big kahuna, a king salmon! Whoo!
I then (after donating the king salmon, of course) swung back by Re-Tail and picked up my new piggy bank! It looks sick in my rococo room!
If you notice, I’ve also put a shark in there… Don’t know why haha.
The next day was exciting because my moai statue was completed! It looks awesome!
I noticed a new beetle on a stump that morning as well. I caught a new species (to me… again lol) the violin beetle!
Now, this is one of the reasons why you should create some tree stumps in your town. Some bugs can only be caught on stumps… So have at least a couple! As you can see, mine are decoratively laid out with flowers, so it’s just a good thing to do 🙂
Later that day, a great friend of mine on ACC graciously donated me an entire Streetpass set (yes, the one I’m auctioning off). This was so kind of him.
I do not Streetpass many people sadly, and this was one of the only ways I would get to experience such a fun collection! 🙂
I also got my hands on another good-luck roll! While the item’s holdable (and therefore, I don’t really care to have it because it’s non-catalogueable)… It is a Japanese exclusive, and I’m happy to have one again after trading my away a while back!
I am loving the way my kitchen/diner is turning out in my house (if you wanna see it, visit my Dream Town via my website!). I decided to place a sign in the middle-ish of town that will promote the “7 Eleven Diner” lol. Just a fun idea.
I also found some wallpaper and flooring that showcase my DLC exhibits better than before! Here’s how they look!
Japan/Korea:
US/Europe:
I’m very proud to own all of the DLC/event items still and will be holding auctions/giveaways next week, so keep watching my homepage of my website!
I found Phineas wandering through town (again!) and all of that diving apparently paid off, as I got a Skilled Diver badge!
I have also been frequently checking my HHA score, trying to get it up to 150,000. Unfortunately I’m still lingering around 130,000… I just need a little boost!
The next day, I decided to attempt to get more badges! I began visiting peoples’ towns (most of them time travelers) to pick weeds. As you know, you only spawn 2 weeds a day. It takes 5000 to get a gold weed badge… This is 2500 days, or just under seven years, of picking weeds to get the darn badge…. So I visited some TTers to get a jump start lol…
Amidst this, some of the TTers being in November, I found different mushrooms which in fact turned out to be items from the Mush series!
I also found a rafflesia in one person’s town. The rafflesia only grows after an immense amount of weeds has spawned in a person’s town without being picked. You can make it go away by picking all of your weeds (which they let me do, thankfully!) and obtaining a “perfect” town, as you can’t dig them or chop them. Interesting tidbit!
When I got home, I finished my design for the 7 Eleven Diner! Check it out 🙂
Pretty spiffy haha. I then visited Shampoodle’s… You may be thinking “WHAT? I thought you said your hair was perfect!?!?!” Well, simmer down… it is! I found out you can obtain colored contacts if it’s been a certain number of days since you opened the store! So I got brown eyes!
I will update a full guide to Shampoodle on my website soon! Speaking of my website, I have put up a full Gracie fashion check guide, as well as updated many things which are now listed on the homepage! Keep checking in for the latest updates!
I next decided to take some pictures and showcase my house a little! Here’s your personal tour! (Although, if you’ve kept up with my blog, you know most of this… lol)
Upstairs I have a personal music studio. Although not seen in these pictures, along the back wall are framed cover art of 3 real-life music albums I’ve released!
My main room is a sort of zen/exotic room, laden with red/black custom exotic series furniture!
My kitchen is the 7 Eleven diner I’ve been speaking of! It is awesome!
My back room houses a tropical island theme! It’s still coming together!
My east room is the rococo room (already pictured)
And downstairs houses a quaint garden!
After taking pictures, I left my home and bumped into Shari… who pulled out some old feelings with my birthday wish I made a couple weeks ago… (real deep stuff!)
Ken then recruited me to play hide and seek… which I reluctantly agreed to do… lol
I then bumped into Phineas yet again. After all that weed pulling, I finally achieved a bronze Weed Hunter badge!
I then ran into Victoria and she told me there was a visitor down on the beach! This could only mean one thing…
Yup, Gulliver! 🙂 He gave me a riddle with spicy shrimp stew and elephants galore! I knew at once he was speaking of Thailand (I have many friends from there!) I look forward to the prize I shall receive in my mail!
For next week:
- Many many updates coming to the website
- Try to complete furniture catalog? I’ll see what I can do (I’m not really close but I am… I think?)
- Major DLC Auction!
- More Badges? Maybe reach 100 million bells in savings???? We shall see!!!
