New DLC Update! Kadomatsu, Star-Sign Furniture Round 2 and 3!

Hey all! I’m back with your next DLC update. For those of you that have been keeping up on playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf (I am unfortunately not included in this… just picked the game back up today lol), you may want to know about the 3 newest DLC items to be released! Of course, as always, all of the DLC items will be updated on my website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com) with every blog post!

Today on ACC, I was lucky enough to find a user (oshawaffles) who was very kind and let me catalog the items! So, if you played your game at all after christmas, you may have had a visit from Pete with a special letter from Nintendo.

Image

Upon opening the letter, you should have received an item called kadomatsu. While I’m still a little iffy on the exact dates, most websites attribute this item to the timeframe of December 26 to January 7. However, the item is reorderable, so searching ACC and other trading posts for a willing person to let you catalog shouldn’t be too difficult!

Image

The other exciting news is that 2 more star-sign DLC items have been released. If you remember, last time I talked about the Sagittarius Arrow. The next items in the series, the Capricorn Ornament

Image

…and the Aquarius Urn

Image

Have indeed been released. I still have not confirmed whether these are Japan only at this point or not, but I have heard tell that in the U.S., such DLC items have been repeating like the pumpkin pie and slushie machine. If this is true, these indeed would only be available in the post office to Japan players. But again, they’re reorderable, so searching for a willing player to let you catalog shouldn’t prove to difficult!

That’s all I’ve got for now. In other sad sad news, Victoria finally moved away, but it’s my own fault for never playing nowadays. She did, however, send me a letter with her picture in it before leaving (that was nice of her lol). I will try to update if anymore unknown DLC releases come about or with the next couple sets of star-sign DLC. Keep playin’ away guys! Be back soon!

DLC Update: Tteok plate acquired!

Hey all!

So, as you remember in my last blog post, I was trying to acquire some recently released DLC, the tteok plate. Well, thanks to a kind user brands1 on animalcrossingcommunity.com, I finally updated my DLC collection to “complete” status once again!

HNI_0025

HNI_0027

I believe (though haven’t confirmed yet) that this item was only available to Korea players in the beginning of November and came via a letter from Nintendo. So if you have any Korean friends with the game, hit them up and ask for this rare morsel! Now the list of “unknown” releases for DLC is smaller, with the star-sign furniture figured out, everything’s coming together! I’ll keep you posted on anything else I find out! ‘Til next time!

As always, you can see the complete DLC list on my website, animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com !

DLC Update!!!

Hey all! So, I hate the feeling of spending months away from the game and coming back to find that a whole lot has gone down in my absence. After all, some used to call me the DLC king back in the day and my catalog events were MASSIVE. But today, I realized I may have missed some important things… but anyway, that’s why I’m posting this blog!

So, first things first. As I mentioned last time, if you live in the U.S. or Europe and you go to download the monthly DLC from the post-office, you will get a tree-stump chair, a DLC item I (and many others) already had because it was released as DLC in Japan last December (before the game came out in other regions). As to not repeat the DLC download for Japan players, they began to start the cycle of Star-Sign furniture that we’ve been waiting for! It being in the Sagittarius date field, the Sagittarius Arrow is the first item that they could get their hands on. Luckily, the item is reorderable, so I got one, and I encourage everyone to spread the love to those looking for these!

Image

Now, I’ve speculated that when the U.S., Europe and other nations finish getting DLC in the upcoming months that Japan already got before the game released in them (what a jumbled sentence, I know.. lol) then we too will join in on the “Star-Sign” DLC cycle wherever that point may be. So don’t fret if you can’t find a Japanese player willing to get you a copy of the item. (for info on star-sign dates, etc, visit my website http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com )

Now comes the kicker. You’ll remember I discussed the pile of leaves item that popped up in a letter from Nintendo last time. Well, while I was away working on the movie set, apparently 3 more DLC items from the “unknown” list have been released!

The first of all is the tteok plate. Now, I’m looking for specifics. If you know exact information, please comment with the release dates, location, etc. From what I’ve got, this item was released in a letter from Nintendo in early November, and I think only to Korean players. I’m still looking for one, so if you know anyone with an extra, please tell them I’m looking! (I’m kkcody on animalcrossingcommunity.com if that’s easier haha…) I’ve heard no word on if it’s reorderable or not yet.

The other 2 items are orderable. They are… (duh duh duh…)…

Image

the flamenco hat

Image

…and the tam-o-shanter! Look at those Scottish locks… haha

I think these two were either DLC or Nintendo Zone DLC in Europe during the month of November, but again, I’ve really no idea on specifics. I’m looking for someone kind enough to explain so that I can keep my website accurate :)

So, while my search for the tteok plate continues, I will keep my DLC updates ongoing to help y’all out! I am updating the website, but as you may read on my note on the homepage, I’m really only focused on the DLC page.

I would also like to give a BIG shoutout to user eunho on ACC. She ended up graciously giving me the tam-o-shanter and flamenco hat for nothing in return, and I am so grateful. What great and giving players there are out there. Thank you!

Image

Well, til next time, keep playing away and I hope you all have a great holiday season! :D

December 2013: New DLC Available!

Hey all! I decided to play a little ACNL today to see what the new Nintendo DLC item was of the month. I was surprised to find something unexpected, a previously known DLC item that I hadn’t obtained yet, but I’ll get to that in a bit.

So, I headed over the the post office and asked about a present and was kinda bummed out to get a tree-stump chair.

Image

For those that have followed my blog for a while, you’ll know that this item was available last year in Japan, and since it’s reorderable, nearly everyone who wanted to find one could. So I wasn’t that impressed now that it seems Nintendo is cycling through old DLC. I didn’t even bother to check the Nintendo Zone DLC for these next two weeks, but I’m assuming, since we’ve had repeats of the raccoon wall clock and cat tower that it will be something of the like (comment below if you find otherwise).

Image

Like that bad hair style I’ve got going on? Maybe I need a haircut… lol. So anyway, I returned back to my house to find my mailbox absolutely stuffed and Pete was at my doorstep. I spoke to him and he gave me a letter from Nintendo. I opened it up and was very very surprised to find a gift, which was a pile of leaves. This was DLC that was previously unknown as far as how to get it, so this was great news!

Image

You can even stand in it!

Image

Well, now that one more DLC item is ticked off of my “unknown” list, I’m happy! I can’t wait to find out of any more DLC released to come in the future! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I’ll post another blog as soon as more DLC is released!

Week ???: New November DLC and… UGH! I disappeared… :’(

Hey all! As many of you know from reading most of my later blogs, I have been taking major steps in my career. Unfortunately, this consisted of a trip to Chicago (one in which I forgot my 3DS at home…). Upon returning, I just was too afraid to see what happened to my lovely town of Tropica and haven’t really picked it up since. I am ashamed, but haven’t given up hope (after all, all things that go wrong in a town can be fixed!), but I’ve been very busy with working.

So basically, the wrap for November is this. The new DLC has come out, the autumn-leaf chair, which is the last monthly DLC download that I know of, although I’m sure there will be one next month (maybe a previously released foreign one.. I’m looking at you, yule log… ) or maybe something completely new. Either way, I’ll try to update the DLC section of the website.

Image

Now, as for Nintendo Zone DLC, others have told me that you get the raccoon-wall clock (or did for the first half of the month) in case you missed it the first time around. I don’t know what you get now, like I said, I have had very little time to actually take a look myself, and I apologize for that :(

Basically, as I noted in some comments, I have been spending all my down time playing the new Pokemon games. I grew up with them, and they have a special place in my heart (as does Animal Crossing), but have no fear, I will at least try to keep y’all informed on the new DLC you can download when I can. After all, for someone who’s been called the “DLC King”, I have to keep up with making sure my collection is current and full. If anyone learns of any new DLC downloads that I don’t post about, please leave a comment. Thanks! As for those who have asked about my acting gig, it’s going well! I’m in on a film shooting called Wild and will be moving on to bigger and better things after that is done. Thanks for all of your support and keep playing ACNL like there’s no tomorrow! :D

Weeks 13 & 14: More DLC!! Autumn is here, Jack appears, Candy for all!

Hey all!

Well, as promised… This week’s (or two weeks’ rather) blog posts are very short… I’m sorry, but I’ve been incredibly busy! I just got back from a long weekend in Chicago and am now on a crazy workout regimen for my next upcoming film project I’m working on, but more on that later.

If you take a look on my website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com), you will be able to see over this next week a new section titled “Town Tour”. In this section, I will have an interactive map with a tour of my whole town for you to enjoy! Can’t wait!

Image

In other news, I FINALLY came across that alpine kitchen cart I’ve been searching for… It makes a great final addition to my diner! :)

Image

Customized of course lol. As for my HHA score, I have been getting super close, dancing around the 140,000 line. So little to do until I push myself to 150,000… ugh…

Image

I found out a funny fact. If you are on a cliff above town residents and they are on the beach, they look up at you…  Wow, this moment… haha

Image

I’ve been enjoying the many new clothing items Gracie has had to offer in my completed storefront. Well… I don’t know about the styles… but it helps me complete my catalog! Lol

Image

I finally got another black rose to grow in my town, which means I’d be harvesting it to make a gold rose. If you want a complete hybrid guide, see my website, but essentially, two red roses next to each other have a small chance of making a black rose, and if you let it wilt and then water it with your golden watering can (bringing it back to life) it turns into a gold rose!

Image

I was super excited when October rolled around because, finally, the new monthly DLC was available, the rice-plant bed! Simply talk to the post-office attendant while connected to the internet…

Image

And it shall be yours!

Image

Who wouldn’t want to lay on a rice-plant?? lol. I was roaming around town and happened to see a familiar face. It’s Jack from previous games’ Halloween festival! I was confused though… I thought he only showed up on Halloween Day?

Image

He explained to me that I should begin collecting candy and unique masks in preparation for the festival and granted me my first costume item, a skeleton hood. Well, it won’t be easy!

Image

I found some more news on unique downloadable DLC. This only works in the US. If you travel to any Nintendo Zone location (or change your router name to “Bestbuy”, instructions on my site) and talk to the post-office attendant, you will not get another rice-plant bed… no…. in fact, in the month of October, you get the previously unknown dated fedora chair! I’m glad I stumbled upon a thread this morning, or I’d have had no idea!

Image

Apparently Nintendo kept this one a little on the quiet side, mentioning it in a Nintendo Direct just a day ago! Well, awesome! That’s another DLC item I can check off the list.

Image

If you live in the UK or elsewhere, you apparently download a high-bun wig or something like that. This item is a normal in-game item, so I urge all US players to share their fedora chairs and spread the love as the UK players did with the shaved-ice lamp a while back. Cheers all! That’s all for now, more to come!

PS: I’m so honored and thrilled with the amount of support I’ve gotten on my new music album. My fans are the best anyone could ask for, and because of you, I will keep pursuing my dream. While my stint on the TV show Grimm is over for now… I can’t wait for the next chapter in my acting career… Thanks for the emails, messages and support. Hopefully I can keep providing expert ACNL advice with everything else going on haha. Keep playing away, readers!   #FF7

Week 12: 100 Million Bell! T&T Emporium, Autumn Moon, & More!

Hey all! Sorry last week’s post is coming in a little late. Last night I planned on writing it up but while I was cooking dinner for my wife, I managed to grab a hot pan out of the oven without using oven mits :( Basically, I had it on ice all night. It feels much better now! (Despite the blister across my palm and on all my fingertips…)

Now, if you remember where I left off last week, I had answered Gulliver’s question correctly with Vietnam. For helping him out, he sent me a letter the next morning that included a tuk-tuk, which is a bicycle taxi thing that is popular over there! Wow… lol

Image

I noticed that morning while perusing my town that Gracie was there!

Image

I’ll come back to that, but if you remember, I only completed 2 fashion checks at that point and you need 4 to get the store upgrade!

I also found that a 10th villager (Wendy) decided to move in since Frank left. She could’ve chosen a worse spot I suppose, but holy crap… Right in the middle of my paths and stuff?? Ugh…

Image

Oh well, I’ll make it work. Now, Gracie’s challenge had the iconic theme. I used the handy guide I uploaded to my website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com) and found out that if I basically dress like the main character of the Adventure Island video games that I’d be set! lol

Image

The next day, I checked in on Wendy’s house and did some gardening. It’s actually not too shabby (still inconvenient)…

Image

With the new fear of anyone else moving out, I went inside to meet her. She seems very nice (she has similar characteristics to Victoria… haha)

Image

Now, for those that have been keeping up with Spotpass visitors, you may recall on with this room.

Image

This may not seem like a big deal, but to some it is. Included in the room is the Japanese exclusive DLC, kagamimochi, which is now available to US players through this room! Go grab yours by ordering furniture from the showcase!

The next thing that happened was astounding. If you remember, my savings account was just tipping over the 50 million point, and I yearn to reach 100 million one day. Well, you may also remember that I was hosting an auction on ACC for a full spotpass collection!

Image

I managed to auction the entire set off for 50 MILLION BELLS! This was huge for me. I met up with the player that day who won the auction and they began the transferring of the money!

Image

We didn’t finish it all that day so we decided to pick it up at a later time (this was a very trusting player to pay me millions and know their items would be there at a later date). I love people who can trust each other, that’s what the games supposed to be about.

Anyway, I continued on to my museum and found that they were selling a paintball wall. This item only appears after completing your art museum (which I did if you remember my past blogs)

Image

I visited Nook’s homes and found that the Zen Exterior was back. As much as I love the golden exterior prize, I think I want to switch back to Zen to build up my HHA points once I reach 150,000 for the interior (visit my website for a guide on HHA point prizes).

Image

The next day, I managed to buy a cabana dresser off of ACC, which is an item I need to further my island room! I, of course, took it to Re-Tail right away to get a gold finish on it!

Image

My streetpass auction winner met back up with me and we finished the massive trade! I was now filthy stinkin rich! WAHOO!

Image

I swung back by Re-Tail and picked up my awesome dresser! Looks great!

Image

I also decided to fix up some other things. In the 7-11 Diner room, I patterned the chairs to match the tables in there…

Image

I also managed to find an LED video screen which scrolls my personal 7-11 Diner pattern! You can put any pattern you want on the LED screen by visiting Re-Tail! It’s awesome!

Image

When I went back outside, Phineas was ready to give me my gold badge for finally pushing 100 million!

Image

I also noticed something funny which I shared as a topic on ACC. The in-game typing for the badge clearly states that it’s for players who have save 1 billion bells. It appears they misprinted this in the final version of the game, so if you read on my website and others, be sure to note that it is an error, you only need 100 million bells lol.

Image

Another prize for reaching 100 million in savings is an ABM, which comes via letter from the post office. For those of you out there having a hard time finding the 7-11 ABM, this is another option to get access to money straight from your home! A very handy item indeed.

Image

I found Saharah in town later and decided to let her do wonders to my interior of my home…

Image

And it was a dud.. No unique walls or carpets. However, I do like the Tartan Rug and how it matches in the room, so I’m keeping that in there for now!

Image

From the HHA showcase, I found the surveillance camera item in a home and ordered it. When it arrived, I placed it above my 7-11 ABM in the diner to make it seem like a more realistic ATM machine haha. Pretty neato.

Image

I haven’t been saying much about my police station, but I do love how they integrated the old school Gamecube feel! That Booker… always thinking it’s not a problem when you steal from the lost & found… lolz

HNI_0090

Cousteau came over to me while walking through town and said this… I don’t know where these guys are getting the drugs, but I wish they’d stop… lol

HNI_0092

Speaking of creepy villagers, Ken made me come to his house and then offered me candy…. On Halloween, it’s one thing, but on a seemingly normal September day… this is insanely creepy…

HNI_0094

Victoria asked me when I saw her (wouldn’t you know it?) to go get a petition signed in another village. Now, I haven’t had luck with this as of yet, but I managed to find a nice player on ACC willing to let me come over and talk to 6 of his villagers!

HNI_0095

Victoria was pleased. I think maybe too pleased, because when I made it back home, she tried to barge in again and do some stuff…. When will she learn the meaning of privacy???

HNI_0097

The next day was the autumn-moon festival! I hope you all took your opportunity to grab the rare US event item wheat bundle

HNI_0099

I also found a new species to me, the diving beetle. If you see a shadow that looks kinda like a frog skipping along the water, pull out your net instead of your rod. You need to have impeccable timing to nab this little troublemaker, but once you do, you can add it to your encyclopedia!

HNI_0001

I also found that the next day would be the last Gracie’s fashion check I’d have to complete! She told me to dress sporty, and since I don’t have too much time on Fridays, I did my best…

HNI_0002

And she gave me a pass! This would mean the Emporium (final shop) would be opening soon!

HNI_0005

I would just have to wait! On Saturday night, I finally managed to put in a few minutes of playtime after 8 to go to my first KK Slider acoustic show on ACNL.

HNI_0012

This makes my running count of concert 2 and I need 100 for the gold badge. Now, for those of you who have asked, you can only get one KK song per Saturday night, and it’s the first song he plays that night. However, you can request for him to play more songs after that, and while he won’t give you copies of the songs, they still count towards your badge total, so if you have an open Saturday night, you can get a gold badge by mindlessly playing music over and over. Pretty cool, right? I’ll have to do this sometime in the future.

I didn’t get a chance to play on Sunday at all (as you read at the beginning, I burnt my hand bad). I got on this morning, thought, to find my T&T Emporium complete! Superb!

HNI_0017

The gardening store (now inside) contains fertilizer, which helps grow rare flowers and trees!

HNI_0018

And probably the best (and most expensive) part of it all is Gracie now owns a personal store on the 3rd floor! While her items are outrageously priced, she gave me my 4th mannequin as congrats for opening the store! Now my Mario gear in my museum’s Nintendo Exhibit can be showcased properly. Sweet!

HNI_0022

Now, I normally post a “for next week” segment here, but I have some announcements to make. I will try to play as much as I can, but my playtime has to decrease. My music album is pushing to the next level of production and will take a lot of my time, and that’s where I need to focus right now. Also, I’ve been playing Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, which I bought recently, and I have to say, any fans of the old trilogy need to get this game (unless you already have it on Wii). I’m astounded that the composer remixed several of you old favorite songs from the originals. I’m also excited that David Wise, who composed all three original games, is returning for the next installment coming to Wii U next year! Now I just need to get a Wii U…. lol

Anyway, so I’ll try to post something fresh and exciting for next week, as well as update the website. Thank y’all so much for tuning in.

And a SPECIAL birthday announcement to my buddy Simone. I hope you had a great birthday sweetheart, and I wish you all the best :) All right folks, ’til next time! :D

Week 11: Complete Streetpass Set! Complete Art Exhibit, New Fish/Bugs, Badges, Etc!

Hello all! Man what a week it has been! I just want to start out by saying that over the course of this week, I have acquired a complete Streetpass collection! These are holdable items that you get by having people repeatedly visit your Happy Home Showcase via Streetpass… Now, as you can imagine, collection all 50+ of these items can be a drag for those of us that don’t Streetpass too many people, so I’m auctioning off the set on ACC until 11:59 pm ACC time! You better get in there and bid while you can!

http://www.animalcrossingcommunity.com/Topic/6001502/1/_Entire_Streetpass_Set_Pumpkin_Pie_Auction_HB_5mil

Image

Now, off to the weekly blog!

As you remember, I set up my public works project to build a tiki torch! It turned out great and will show off my town in luau style!

Image

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better… Ken recommended a Moai Statue!!! (He’s coming in quite handy these days…)

Image

All in good time though! Anyway, I’ve been keeping the website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com) up to date as far as catalog goes. If you check it out, I’ve added bars below sections to tell you when they’ve last been updated so you guys have knowledge when ordering from me. That being said, I’ve been frequenting the shops for new items to me, such as this fish tee!….

Image

I noticed a blue Spotpass dot when booting up, so I headed to my HHA showcase and found Nintendo sent me a visitor named Chiko…… “Eggs everywhere!!“….

Image

I was like “okay?…” and continued on to her house… But I soon found what she was speaking of!

Image

As if this room wasn’t cool enough… Check out the upstairs!

Image

Lol. Wow… wow Nintendo…

Anyway, as you recall, I was trying to gain art pieces to finish off my museum’s art collection… Well, the week was off to a grand start! I found people selling real art on ACC!

Image

I also started another tiki torch public works… i do have a vision… You’ll see (someday)…

Image

Then it happend! With just 1 piece left to collect for a full art museum, I met Onigiri on ACC! She had the missing painting!

Image

I was ecstatic that morning! After all that scouring for real artwork, I had finally accomplished another exhibit! :D

Image

The next morning, I decided to take on diving (since I haven’t gone diving too often as of late…)

I’m glad I did! I found some new species (to me), such as the clam…

Image

…and the oyster!

Image

The rest of the day I spent with a friend and it was solely dedicated to me traveling to their town over and over again in hopes of getting a traveler badge (and them getting a host badge, of course). The process took much longer then I thought, and I only managed to travel 44 times before I gave up… But it was enough to push my overall traveling over 100 visits, giving me the Neighborhood Traveler badge!

Image

If you want a full guide on collecting badges, visit my website, but basically… i clocked in each “visit” of mine at about 2 and a half minutes… So you can do the math and buddy up with someone to work your visits amount up!

Victoria snuck up on me while I was sitting around at home… She can’t get enough of me, I tell ya

Image

Now, something new in September as far as fish are concerned: the opportunity to catch salmon! Now, this can be difficult, as they only appear in waterfalls and it is very hard to see their shadow… I managed to catch one!

Image

As if catching one wasn’t tasking enough, if you’re very lucky, you would run into a large salmon called a king salmon! But I wasn’t that morning, so I took to the ocean and found a new diving species, a turban shell!

Image

I also found a gold ore a couple days back, and while I’ve been remodeling my cabana series, I haven’t found any more pieces of the set yet, so I decided to get my piggy bank decked out!

Image

Walking back through town… That’s when I saw it….. (remember how I said I hadn’t been lucky? well… All of a sudden… I was!)

Image

I cast my line nice and sturdy and landed the big kahuna, a king salmon! Whoo!

Image

I then (after donating the king salmon, of course) swung back by Re-Tail and picked up my new piggy bank! It looks sick in my rococo room!

Image

If you notice, I’ve also put a shark in there… Don’t know why haha.

The next day was exciting because my moai statue was completed! It looks awesome!

Image

I noticed a new beetle on a stump that morning as well. I caught a new species (to me… again lol) the violin beetle!

Image

Now, this is one of the reasons why you should create some tree stumps in your town. Some bugs can only be caught on stumps… So have at least a couple! As you can see, mine are decoratively laid out with flowers, so it’s just a good thing to do :)

Later that day, a great friend of mine on ACC graciously donated me an entire Streetpass set (yes, the one I’m auctioning off). This was so kind of him.

Image

I do not Streetpass many people sadly, and this was one of the only ways I would get to experience such a fun collection! :)

I also got my hands on another good-luck roll! While the item’s holdable (and therefore, I don’t really care to have it because it’s non-catalogueable)… It is a Japanese exclusive, and I’m happy to have one again after trading my away a while back!

Image

I am loving the way my kitchen/diner is turning out in my house (if you wanna see it, visit my Dream Town via my website!). I decided to place a sign in the middle-ish of town that will promote the “7 Eleven Diner” lol. Just a fun idea.

Image

I also found some wallpaper and flooring that showcase my DLC exhibits better than before! Here’s how they look!

Japan/Korea:

Image

US/Europe:

Image

I’m very proud to own all of the DLC/event items still and will be holding auctions/giveaways next week, so keep watching my homepage of my website!

I found Phineas wandering through town (again!) and all of that diving apparently paid off, as I got a Skilled Diver badge!

Image

I have also been frequently checking my HHA score, trying to get it up to 150,000. Unfortunately I’m still lingering around 130,000… I just need a little boost!

Image

The next day, I decided to attempt to get more badges! I began visiting peoples’ towns (most of them time travelers) to pick weeds. As you know, you only spawn 2 weeds a day. It takes 5000 to get a gold weed badge… This is 2500 days, or just under seven years, of picking weeds to get the darn badge…. So I visited some TTers to get a jump start lol…

Image

Amidst this, some of the TTers being in November, I found different mushrooms which in fact turned out to be items from the Mush series!

Image

I also found a rafflesia in one person’s town. The rafflesia only grows after an immense amount of weeds has spawned in a person’s town without being picked. You can make it go away by picking all of your weeds (which they let me do, thankfully!) and obtaining a “perfect” town, as you can’t dig them or chop them. Interesting tidbit!

Image

When I got home, I finished my design for the 7 Eleven Diner! Check it out :)

Image

Pretty spiffy haha. I then visited Shampoodle’s… You may be thinking “WHAT? I thought you said your hair was perfect!?!?!” Well, simmer down… it is! I found out you can obtain colored contacts if it’s been a certain number of days since you opened the store! So I got brown eyes!

Image

I will update a full guide to Shampoodle on my website soon! Speaking of my website, I have put up a full Gracie fashion check guide, as well as updated many things which are now listed on the homepage! Keep checking in for the latest updates!

I next decided to take some pictures and showcase my house a little! Here’s your personal tour! (Although, if you’ve kept up with my blog, you know most of this… lol)

Upstairs I have a personal music studio. Although not seen in these pictures, along the back wall are framed cover art of 3 real-life music albums I’ve released!

Image

Image

My main room is a sort of zen/exotic room, laden with red/black custom exotic series furniture!

Image

My kitchen is the 7 Eleven diner I’ve been speaking of! It is awesome!

Image

Image

My back room houses a tropical island theme! It’s still coming together!

Image

Image

My east room is the rococo room (already pictured)

And downstairs houses a quaint garden!

Image

After taking pictures, I left my home and bumped into Shari… who pulled out some old feelings with my birthday wish I made a couple weeks ago… (real deep stuff!)

Image

Ken then recruited me to play hide and seek… which I reluctantly agreed to do… lol

Image

I then bumped into Phineas yet again. After all that weed pulling, I finally achieved a bronze Weed Hunter badge!

Image

I then ran into Victoria and she told me there was a visitor down on the beach! This could only mean one thing…

Image

Yup, Gulliver! :) He gave me a riddle with spicy shrimp stew and elephants galore! I knew at once he was speaking of Thailand (I have many friends from there!) I look forward to the prize I shall receive in my mail!

For next week:

  • Many many updates coming to the website
  • Try to complete furniture catalog? I’ll see what I can do (I’m not really close but I am… I think?)
  • Major DLC Auction!
  • More Badges? Maybe reach 100 million bells in savings???? We shall see!!!

Week 10: Major Website Updates, Art Exhibit ALMOST Complete, and More!

This is going to be the lamest blog post (just a head’s up) lol! I had a heck of a start to my week with online college finals.. But the good news is I will graduate in one more term! Also, I’ve started the recording of my fourth music album, so ACNL time has been pushed to the side… But there are still a couple of things that I will note here for week 10, hopefully next week will be more exciting!

I don’t know why I’m even posting this, but Gracie came to my town and I skipped out on her (again..) She always comes on the worst days… :( aw well, I have passed 2 fashion checks and only need 2 more, so all in good time!

Image

On that note, I am currently working on updating my website (http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com) with a Gracie Fashion Check guide. Some updates have occured, which I will list below…

  • New Autumn layout
  • Catalogs updated
  • Museum page updated, including a full bug catching list, September fish, maps, etc (just go take a look!)
  • Music being updated now!
  • Club Tropica… Still under construction (sorry!)
  • New pictures

As I ran along the river (sometime during the week) I saw a tiny shadow and for some reason thought “what the heck” and went fishing. I’m glad I did, because I caught a new species to me, a popeyed goldfish!

Image

I went and donated the fish to the museum and decided to check out the 2nd floor shop. I’m glad I did, because there I found a paintball floor, a commemorative item for my art exhibit being more than 50% complete! Woot woot!

HNI_0022

Katrina told me more crazy stories as the week went on… I worry about her sometimes…

HNI_0044

I paid Victoria the usual visits as well, and I’m glad to say that we are still madly in love (apparently)… lol

HNI_0045

And I see she saved the flight attendant uniform I sent her… I am so evil lol. ;)

HNI_0046

Throughout the week, Cobb suggested that I build a drinking fountain as my next public works project. I thought it was a great idea for my park (Cobb has actually had quite a few good ideas as of late). Here’s the final product! :)

HNI_0049

And he didn’t stop there! Just today, he recommended a torch, another one I’ve been waiting for! Can’t wait to see how it looks once it’s built tomorrow!

HNI_0052

Another thing I realized today was that you can refurbish your stained glass window if you have one. I’ve been keeping one in my rococo room (if you remember from previous blogs), so I decided to visit Cyrus…

HNI_0054

Now, there’s a handy guide online (see my website) that tells you all of the combinations of design patterns you can make. So I chose one that I liked and set the alpaca to work! It came out great!!

HNI_0059

Today on ACC, I managed to score a few things. First off, somebody sold me a yellow aloha shirt and their hero’s cap for very very cheap!

HNI_0055

I then set up a thread where I would buy the remaining art pieces I need in my museum for 500k a piece. While this was a bit draining on my bank account (a total of 5 art pieces were bought!) I now only need 4 pieces of art until my exhibit is complete! I’m so excited!

HNI_0056

This might be my goal for this next week!

Coming up for Week 11…

  • Finish my art exhibit (repetitive… I know lol)
  • Update website:
  1. Music updates
  2. More pictures
  3. Gracie guide
  4. Index
  • Get more badges!!!

Week 9: Birthday Extravaganza! New DLC, Tingle Hood and more!

Well, my week started off with a bang! As those that keep up with this blog may recall, I dealt with a false accusation against me by ACC user osiris7777777, so I wouldn’t interact with them or they might do the same to you (read about it in my last blog post).

Despite that, my week started off with yet another Gracie fashion check! She wanted me to go for “rock n roll” this time around, so I got to work making my perfect outfit!

Image

I also was suggested by Cobb that I should build a video screen in town as my next public works project! This is one I’ve been waiting for, so I set the location down by town plaza and paid it off right away!

Image

I had also been selling some of the afternoon-tea set DLC to make a few bells. My account is slowly rising, I’ll hit the 100 million mark eventually!

Image

I returned to Gracie wearing this… It wasn’t exactly what she was looking for but she let me pass the test! 2 down, 2 to go! :)

Image

Something else exciting happened early on in the week. I visited Dr. Shrunk day after day, as per usual, and I hit the point where I finally learned every joke he had to offer! He taught me the shrunk dance and gave me the Dr. Shrunk’s Jacket which I have been trying to get for some time now! Whoo!

Image

Also, since my bank account finally hit the 50 million bell mark, I was sent a special gift from the post office via the mail! It’s a postman’s hat! This is classy and will sit proudly in my rococo room!

Image

Now, as you all may have read, my birthday was approaching, and my brother played a sort of prank on me lol. If you have visited my town’s Dream Address and either found the actual picture or design of something highly inappropriate, I’m sorry if you are offended! If you have found it and you laughed, then that’s good, because my brother logged on to my 3DS, uploaded a design via QR that some would think is totally gross, and hid it on a wall in my house! I’m leaving it there because I think it’s funny, I’m just saying that if it offends anyone, I am truly sorry! (more information on visiting my town or dream address on my website http://animalcrossingnewleaf.moonfruit.com)

Image

The next day, I found my nice video screen completed! It looks great!

Image

I also found Phineas wandering around town. I asked him for a badge, and he gave me the Gardening Specialist badge for always keeping my plants watered! WOW!

Image

That’s my first gold medal! Can’t wait to get more! I next decided to move my catalog event sign to the left side of the field and make a more organized setup. I also changed the existing sign to a design I created for the café.

Image

Still chasing after Victoria’s picture, I always try to 1-up her requests. She asked me for a cherry and I, of course, brought back a perfect cherry. However, I haven’t got a picture yet! I’ll keep trying though :)

Image

The next day was my birthday! Not knowing what to expect, I turned on my 3DS in the morning to find Victoria in front of my home.

Image

She dragged me back to her place where there was a party in store!

Image

I made a funny wish that Victoria asked me to tell her. I did and she said she’s gonna spread it around! Wow! That would be hilarious :D

Image

I exited the house to a little cutscene where I note that I am awesome…

Image

Only receiving a birthday table item from the birthday furniture set, I was visited by a few friends who granted me awesome gifts! Among them were a full white suit and a full birthday furniture set!

Image

Feeling generous after the nice gifts, I decided to run a catalog event on my birthday! (crazy, right?) I invited Simone, a great friend of mine, to come first and test out my new organization method! We had a lot of fun!

Image

Image

Simone also brought me a shopping cart! Now, after some research, I found this item isn’t really anything special. It was listed in the Prima guide as “DLC”, but in fact, it is just a spotlight item. However, people want it because of this typo, so I decided I’ll include it in my DLC collection for now.

Image

Another exciting gift I received was the last DLC/event item I needed to complete my collection, the fruit basket!! Monumental moment for me right there.

Image

After all the time, effort, blood, sweat, tears and McWaffle incident, I finally had a complete collection! No where to go from here but towards the future releases! What a feeling. :)

After the catalog event I held on my birthday, I saw my bank account rise a little, almost nearing the 60 million mark!

Image

Strolling through town, Cobb recommended another great public works project, a fire pit! I’m beginning to like this guy…

Image

I visited the fortune shop I opened last week to have my daily fortune reading. If you remember, I received a celebration hat randomly as a special good-luck item. There is one other you can receive called the Tingle hood (yes, Tingle from Majora’s Mask) and Katrina finally offered it to me! (well..you have to pay 10,000 bells…..)

Image

As great as the hood looks on my head…

Image

I decided to showcase it in my Nintendo museum exhibit with all of the other classic gear from other games :)

Image

I got a letter from Nintendo notifying me about the afternoon-tea set‘s availability at Nintendo Zone locations. I wish Nintendo would keep this hush-hush… what good are exclusive items if everyone knows about them? Oh well…

Image

I was happy to spot Phineas again! He presented me with a Letter Writer badge! Sweet!

Image

And that dingy morning, my fire pit was also complete! It looks soooo epic

Image

The next morning, it was finally September! This meant some new catches in the fish and bug department! My first new find was a pike

Image

Not much else exciting happened (as I was on vacation with limited play time). The next day was the Labor Day festivities in my Town Plaza!

Image

Image

Yup, this included the receiving of the DLC picnic basket (which I already had, but for those of you that don’t…. Labor Day was the day to play ;) )

Shortly after, I found two new bug species, a cricket and bell cricket!

Image

Also starting September, the new downloadable DLC (via the post office), the full-moon vanity, has been released worldwide! Go get yours sometime during September!

Image

I placed it in my US/EU DLC exhibit and await the next DLC item to be released!

Image

In other news, my main website catalog has been updated in the “furniture” section, and the website has a new Autumn layout! Hope you all enjoy! Here’s the address again…
